PEACHY

31st of May, wheew! times flies i know. Im so glad welcoming June. I can feel the positive energy coming towards me. I have made several agreements to additional job by next month, means i will be more busy than before.

Sometimes routines make you feel so bored, but in my personal opinion doing nothing can be more boring to myself. I love to be productive. pssstt, and so i'll make my another experimental electronic music project come true by next week. Back in the independent music production industry is always challenging . Yippikayeyy!

Wrapped in Merino , THE WORLD'S LONGEST SOCIAL SCARF

Everyone loves warmness. I'm so excited to tell you about this very special campaign by The Woolmark Company. The Woolmark Company is giving wool lovers the chance to make history by setting a new world record for the World’s Longest Social Scarf.

Launching on Tuesday 29th of May, The Woolmark Company’s ‘Wrapped in Merino’ campaign which runs on a microsite and on the We Love Wool community, aims to connect people in social media as they collaboratively design a giant virtual scarf.

Each participant creates their own section of the scarf, adding their photo and customising the scarf design, before sharing it with their friends through Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

Participants automatically enter the draw to win one of eight fashion prize packs, including
Net-A-Porter vouchers and soft Merino wool scarves.
Merino wool is a unique fibre, loved by fashion and apparel designers for its quality and versatility. The campaign aims to give users a hands on experience with this fibre as they are given the opportunity to design and customise their own personal scarf.

The campaign will be run through the ‘We Love Wool’ Facebook page launched by The Woolmark Company in June 2011, which has recently celebrated 100,000 fans! The thriving community provides consumers, retailers and designers alike a touch-point to connect and discuss all things wool.

THE SHRINE

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I don't pretty much confident to wear pastel color for my outfit, but this time i tried to experiment with some pink pastel colors mixed with turquoise polkadots fabric pleated pants. I basically love the way it reflects the paleness against the other color tones surround it. And by the way, when i look to my first photo... hmm i felt pretty awkward finding my face looks like a japanese girl which i never thought i'd look that way.

How Jeans Conquered the World of Fashion

Whether you like a low boot cut or a , everyone has a preference when it comes to denim. The denim jean has man a Superdry jeans skinny cut aged to capture the imaginations of people across the globe, and has become a worldwide fashion phenomenon. And it has achieved this great feat in a remarkably short period of time.

So how has the humble jean come to conquer the world and become one of the most worn items of clothing in modern society? Here we take you through a quick history of the rise and rise of denim jeans.

Originally known as genes – as they originated in the Italian town of Genoa – jeans became popular amongst sailors in the area and were a particular favourite of employees in the French navy. However, their popularity really took off when an immigrant by the name of Levi Strauss began to manufacture jeans for American workers during the years of the Californian gold rush.

Denim jeans proved to be incredibly hard wearing and comfortable – perfect for the harsh, tough conditions of life on the new frontier of America. They also proved cheap to manufacture, and became incredibly popular amongst the American working class – perfectly adaptable to any manual labour.

Jeans really caught the public’s imagination in the 1940’s and 50’s when influential film stars began to wear them on the big screen. John Wayne and Clint Eastwood elevated denim jeans to international fame when they wore them in the incredibly popular Westerns of the era.

Real variety in the range of cuts, dyes and styles emerged in the 60’s as jeans became a staple fashion item of the era – symbolic of the counterculture that revolutionised the politics, culture and art of the times. This appeared to be the turning point for jeans, as they became items for everyday wear, rather than simply the preferred trousers of the working class.

Today, jeans have spread to every corner of the globe, and are worn by an extraordinary range of people from all walks of life. From humble beginnings, jeans have become an item of clothing worn by anyone wanting an easy-fitting, comfortable and durable trouser. The styles and designs may have expanded to include an incredibly diverse variety of trousers, but the ethos and practicality of jeans has always remained.

Steven Patrick Morrissey (born 22 May 1959), known as Morrissey, is an English singer and lyricist. He rose to prominence in the 1980s as the lyricist and vocalist of the band The Smiths . Morrissey's lyrics have been described as "dramatic, bleak, funny vignettes about doomed relationships, lonely nightclubs, the burden of the past and the prison of the home. He is also noted for his unique baritone vocal style (though he sometimes uses falsetto, his quiff haircut and his dynamic live performances. His forthright and often contrarian opinions have led to a number of media controversies, and he has also attracted media attention for his advocacy of vegetarianism and animal rights. Morrissey moved to Los Angeles, California in the early 1990s.(article was taken from here )

blindsided

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here comes another weekend post, people! :) This Saturday i had not much fun to do, i was just spending my time sightseeing in malls .. searching for some great deals of sale.

Lately i don't feel like i wanna spending my bucks for things which are not too urgent for my needs. I really want to save my financial costs. Having more than one CCs truly depressing. I have to manage well my usage of those credit cards, unless i'll end up penniless. I have a responsibility for my own outcome budget and everything, so i have to be wiser from now on.

I have to limit my shopping budget for things that are not really worth to buy. For the next upcoming months, i have arranged a vacation for my mom and I . So i have to save more money from now.

So, guys i hope you won't catch in this similar case of stuck between the debts thingy. Have a great weekend!
