How to Achieve a Blinding Shine for Your Shoes

Good looking shoes are an essential part of a great outfit, but this means that the shoes need to be shiny and polished if they are to look their best. It doesn’t matter if you are wearing expensive designer loafers if they are stained and muddy; you aren’t going to impress anyone with them. That is why you need to look after your shoes and ensure that they are buffed and ready to go at all times. Here are a few methods which will help you achieve that glimmering shine.

1. Get the right supplies

In order to shine your shoes properly, you will need various products. Essentials that you cannot do without include shoe polish, a soft cloth and a shoe brush. You can get these along with other products either separately or as part of a shoe shining kit. Make sure the color of the polish matches your shoes and select carefully between wax and cream polish. Ideally, you could get one of both and alternate between using them



2. Arrange a polishing area

Shoe polish is notoriously difficult to remove so you want to ensure that you avoid any unnecessary stains. Select a place to do the work and lay down newspapers everywhere.



3. Start shining

The actual process is not that difficult. First take the shoe apply and polish a layer on the shoe using a brush or an old piece of cloth. The toe and heel might need extra polish. Repeat with the other shoe then let them dry for 15 minutes. After this take the brush and remove any excess polish. Be thorough. The last step is to take a clean piece of cloth and buff the shoes until they are nice and shiny.

Weeks ago i ruined one of my faux leather pants collection, frustated me somehow. I need more tutorial to keep my faux leather collection anyway.

This outfit which i wore before NET TV broadcaster open casting, i was idealess to find what to wear.. And here i was picking a skirt and shirt and blazer with a clutch. The casting went well, and still waiting for the result. At least i tried my best to be in front of camera and doing program presenting.

EXODUS ATTACK

Here i am again, trying to be more regular to update the blog. It's Sunday afternoon here. and 4 days to go to celebrate Eid Mubarak. I smell mass holiday here in Indonesia. Most of people do an exodus to their hometown to visit a family. me? what about my family? well, basically i don't like doing exodus during Eid Mubarak. I can't stand the crowd, the road accident risk, and the tiredness after i arrived there in my dad's hometown. So me and mom decided to spend Eid Mubarak by staying in town, visiting some fams that live in the same town too. Usually i do visiting my dad's hometown and send prayer to his graveyard before Ramadhan the fasting month. It's a kinda tradition here to visit the family graveyard who had passed away. A moment of remembering the loved of family.

This whole fasting month is really made me to do everyworks without take a little breath. I keep working every morning til evening, doing two daily jobs and keep fasting ( no eat no drink no bad things for more or less than 12 hrs). BIG CHALLENGE, eh? Indeed. But it worth the earning that i receive this month. Well, i plan on doing a bigger journey next year so need to save ALOT.. ALOT... yeah, since i'm no longer dependent from my parent for my financial living, i earn them and support the family too. Well, it's so good knowing that you can stand by your own feet and not beng a spoiled lil kid who likes to spend parent's money for shopping this and that. I earn my living ..and i spent them responsibly.

A financial managing becomes my worst enemy for years, so i looked at my saving account and decide to be wiser to use the budget and keep saving. Smart shopping is one of my solution. So i will chanelling on two or three stuffs first and save the bucks to buy them in following months. SALE SEASON always be a saviour to me. THRIFTING also becoming my spender solution. and detox my wardrobe by joining the garage sale.

Oh my God, did i talk too much about this? haha. that's fine..i just really need to share this thought to you guys, my favorite readers. Writing a blog is modern public diary ,where we can share our thought to be seen by many people, whoever they are. I know as a blogger is very tempting to update every single trend and catch up the latest collection, but doesn't mean we will end up broke with no money and keep filling the closet with wardrobes, right? So i hope you all too be wiser to spend the moeny and don't forget to them too for an urgent situation.

おいしい Oishī

Monday morning at my office, and i suddenly remember that i miss writing post for my blog. Just a little updates from me, i just reduced my working hours shorter to optimize my other activities related to media working. A local TV station ask me to join one of their program starting on August, i am so excited. Speaking of my radio show, my program director also chose me to host an afternoon primetime show. Phew, another creativity skill needed recently.

I just got invited by Openrice.com to attend a food tasting in Sichidon Japanese Resto. These are the photos i took at Sichidon Japanese Ramen and Don Buri resto. Speaking of food they serve are categorized in special taste of Japanese special culinary like ramen, udon, don buri, katsu and roasted cha siu. The atmosphere brought us to a Japanese scene, as you can see the wall decor, the book shelves, the room interior too. The price range is also reasonable for a great taste of food here. It's happening again, the laziness in me tried to trap me for writing this fashion journal. But i beat the devil, now i'm writing to you fully charged energy. So now, i'm dressing in really bright pink tone outfit. Yeap! Neon pink has become my biggest color crush recently. I bought manynthingsin this color without even think twice. This color makes me overjoyed. Don't you ever feel that color tone does affect your mood in every moments? Indeed. And i will show it up to you, dearies. I am not afraid dressing in a very bright tones.

Why am i posing with this Mahalo Ukulele? Just because i really love to play with it recently. I made a duo project with one of my multitalent sist Shaula in our recently formed duo "SDDN be Girls". We performed in some of the gigs too covering some songs we loved, such as Boy, Feist, Regina Spektor, The Strokes, and many more. It was so much fun. I love this project.

JUNEAST

June is now. We're in the mid of year. Im happy knowing the past following months of making some progresses in life. I just went back from Singapore to have a flash getaway, spending time there on my own. Walk around the city for hours, enjoying things to appreciate what we already earned.

Things i hate most after vacation is hhahaha the cliche thing..going back to reality, but yeah that's the way it should end and restart the routines. But i do feeling refresh after this me time.

So you gals, if sometimes you feel stuck with your life ..go grab a chance of a solo traveling. Enjoy every part of it, you might be lost in someways but then you'll find a great experience .

Dear everyones, now am writing again after the superbusy weeks, finishing my werks, traveled back and forth for the recent job. I feel blessed. I love to see my self achieving things i have been efforted of so far. Having more than 3kinds of responsibilities makes me try harder to manage my time, but that is the essential of my job challenge. One thing for sure, i push my self not to abandon my blog and keeps writing for you all.

If you are one of those busy birds like i, i suggest you to really taking your vitamin regularly, exercising even just for 10-15 minutes.
